The goal for the entire Seven Lakes Girl Scout Council this year has been set at 290,075. The money will be used for repairs, building and furnishing of the 10 Girl Scout Camps, troop camping, service projects and many other activities. This year the girls will take orders rather than sell the cookies from door to door. Any customer has a choice of assorted cremes, butter trefoils, mints, peanut butter and samoas. The cookies will be delivered to customers between Feb.
28 through March 9 with orders taken between Jan. 17-27. A Sayre woman was the lone $200 winner in the regular 50-cent Pennsylvania lottery paid between Nov. 29 and Dec. 10, the Bureau of State Lotteries reported.
Maria Gregori of 416 N. Elmer Ave. was the big winner in Bradford County during that time period. She collected $200. Those winning $40 in the same lottery included Sharon A.
